ARTISTIC DIRECTOR of the Children's Chorus of Maryland

I am thrilled to announce that I have been named the new ARTISTIC DIRECTOR of the Children's Chorus of Maryland!

This new, full-time position will begin in June of 2023. I am looking forward to conducting CCM's three auditioned choirs and collaborating with a talented team of music educators in CCM's Kodály-based conservatory.

Founded in 1976, CCM continues to pursue its mission:

Children’s Chorus of Maryland seeks to inspire and empower each child through exceptional and joyous musical learning and collaboration. We achieve our mission through a comprehensive program of musical training and distinguished performance experience, dedicated to excellence, aesthetic sensitivity, play-based learning, respect, and diversity. We believe that the experience of collaborative music-making nurtures the mind, the heart, the spirit, and the community, and helps young people develop into skilled, thoughtful, innovative and contributing citizens and leaders.

I will be following in the footsteps of Susan Bialek, CCM's most recent AD, as well as its founder, Betty Bertaux.
